SEPTEMBER 1999 is an art-house game that can really scare even the most persistent user. Everything around is created so realistically that at first it may be hard to believe that everything that is happening is not a real shoot, but just a computer reality. But the main notable feature of the project is that the gameplay takes only 5 minutes. The action takes place in the mysterious September 1999. The user is offered to watch an old film on a cassette and personally feel like the hero of the recording, because it is he who will have to move. The picture shows an ordinary house with simple rooms, where paintings hang and clothes are scattered. The slight chaos hints that someone is clearly living here, but whether it is the protagonist himself or someone else is unclear. He moves around the rooms, examining them and noticing small details in his head. But then the recording breaks off and starts again from the very beginning. But something around has definitely changed, some details are starting to be replaced by new, more creepy and frightening ones. The player September 1999 practically does not change anything. All he can do is observe and explore, sometimes opening some boxes and looking out the window. There will be real frightening chaos around and with each restart of the film it will be increasingly difficult to move forward. It will be especially uneasy for people who have seen similar cassette videos in real life, since the style of filming on them is recreated as realistically as possible.
