Serious Sam Double D XXL brings the legendary shooter to the style of a 2D side-scroller. The main feature of the game is the ability to attach weapons to each other to become a threat to Mental's army. This feature is called "The Gunsmith" and it literally allows you to fire simultaneously from all guns.

The gameplay is tailored for co-op. The second player will take control of a guy named Huff. A partner can either enter or exit the game at any time by pressing one button.
