Serena is a horror quest with a first-person view, in places reminiscent of an interactive book. The control is implemented according to the classic point and click system for this genre. That is, one mouse is enough. The creepy story is told through the narrator (there is an expressive voiceover that allows you to catch the changes in the protagonist's mood). Thanks to the voice and sounds, the seemingly cheerful atmosphere gradually becomes depressive, and then completely frightening. There is only one ending, but it can take you by surprise and shock you. The plot begins with a man. The nameless hero is sitting in a forest hut and waiting for his beloved named Serena. To somehow while away the wait, he decides to stretch his legs. Soon the gameplay starts and we begin to explore the house. Here you need to cut circles around the room until you stumble upon an important object. These things move the narrative forward.Periodically, the main character shares his thoughts. He also comments on the objects he finds. Monologues play an important role here, because his phrases build the plot (by the way, inspired by the works of Howard Lovecraft) and help to understand what really happened in this gloomy dwelling. This is a short indie game. It takes about an hour to complete. It has no complex puzzles, inventory, or auxiliary entries. There is not even a settings menu.
