In Serious Sam 2, the main character's goal is to stop Mentala, a hostile alien. To do this, he travels to different planets in search of parts of the medallion that will help him win the battle. Unlike the previous part of the series, this time the creators placed more emphasis on the plot - here it is revealed in videos. As in the previous episodes of the cycle, the gameplay is focused on bloody battles. The main character fights against crowds of enemies attacking him. They can be different and use different weapons. Ammunition and first aid kits are scattered everywhere, making the battles almost continuous and only occasionally interrupted by other tasks, such as searching for an item that allows you to open the passage further. Sam has a fairly large arsenal at his disposal: both standard guns (revolvers, rifles, shotguns), and more powerful and unusual. The game deserves attention old-school mechanics in the form of lives. The player has a certain number of them, and after each death you will need to complete the level from the last save. As for the multiplayer game, there is both a cooperative and a classic deathmatch mode. Up to 16 people can simultaneously fight against monsters or with each other. The graphic component is far from new, but the quality of the textures is impressive and allows you to see the terrain and opponents in great detail. The locations will be varied - pyramids, dungeons, city streets. In desperate moments, the main character will give out phrases endowed with black humor and fearlessness.
