Shaun White Snowboarding is an open-world snowboarding simulator. Several large locations are available: the Alps, Alaska, Japan, and the famous Park City in Utah. You can switch between levels at any time. The locations themselves are vast obstacle courses, with some forks and branches. The tracks go high into the mountain, which can be reached by lift or helicopter. Shaun White Snowboarding gameplay also allows you to take a snowboard in your hands and climb the mountain on foot, while exploring the locations for various activities. If you do something wrong, there is a chance that you can be covered by an avalanche, burying you under a huge layer of snow. The game uses Scimitar technology, used in Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia. It provides excellent long-range rendering, allowing you to view all the sights of the landscapes at the top of the mountain. At the same time, you can examine the foot of the mountain in detail. Despite the snowiness of each territory, the locations are diverse and unique. The descent takes up to ten minutes. At the same time, you can perform a variety of tricks. The tracks contain various ramps and obstacles. The gameplay encourages extreme play, awarding additional bonuses for difficult and dangerous jumps, or tricks on the edge of a cliff or abyss. The developers sacrificed realism for the sake of dynamic gameplay. If you crash into a tree, the character will be able to get up and continue the descent further.
