In Shifters, players take on the role of Alleron, the protagonist from Warriors of Might and Magic. The protagonist embarks on a mission to prevent the invasion by replacing villages with mechanized cities. Unlike his predecessor, the ward has the ability to transform into 24 different forms of creatures, from a humanoid ram to a griffin-style creature.While traveling through six diverse worlds, the character encounters the various races that inhabit each world, culminating in intense boss battles. Throughout the entire passage, there are hidden areas intended for certain forms of shape change, although completion remains achievable regardless of the chosen form.The combat mechanics vary depending on the current form and the weapon used, offering unique attack sequences that can throw the enemy into the air. Each form has its own set of spells, and some of them provide access to hidden areas that hide secrets and valuable treasures. These spells also prove useful in combat scenarios, tipping the scales in Alleron's favor during confrontations.
