Shiver is an indie horror game in the point-and-click style. Set in the 90s of the last century. The main character sets off on a journey to visit his elderly father in a remote nursing home. A mysterious traffic accident leaves the protagonist stuck in the middle of the abandoned Windy Oaks National Park. There is no way to call for help, there are no people nearby, but it seems that the hero is not alone here, and that something wishes him harm.Shiver gameplay is based on exploring locations and solving puzzles. The player can collect various items, combine them in the inventory, and use them on environmental objects to overcome various obstacles. In addition, there are also text materials - notes, instructions and maps that can be studied to get a hint or additional plot information. Movement between areas is carried out by clicking the mouse on the edges of the screen, and an overview of each of them is its free movement. You will have to visit a snowy forest area and an abandoned mine. The background is made in the form of detailed and partially animated illustrations. The atmosphere of horror is created by periodic creepy screamers. The cold winter setting, the semi-darkness of underground tunnels and the sounds of the howling wind add to the tension of the action.
