IN ShockRods instead of people, war machines converge on the battlefield. The action shooter can be played with bots or joined in multiplayer. The gamer shoots the enemy on the move, finding deadly weapons in the arena.There are 5 modes available for passing:

• deadly battle - here it's every man for himself, and the winner is the participant with the most kills;
• team battle - a 6v6 battle, where groups eliminate each other in the allotted time;
• capture the flag - the main goal is enemy banners, which need to be stolen and transferred to a certain point;
• king of the hill - the winner is the one who kills more opponents with the help of the special weapon "Golden Ram";
• football - 2 teams of 6 participants fight for the ball to score it into the opponent's goal.

Cars have excellent aerodynamics, so they move very quickly. This makes it easier to dodge attacks, but it is also more difficult to hit the target yourself. Cars can turn on nitro and jump. Jumping helps you dodge enemy shells, climb hills, fly over mines and other traps. Jet engines are attached to the sides of the vehicle, allowing it to rotate in different directions.

In addition to agility in battle, weapons and other devices that are located in different parts of the arena will come in handy. The arsenal includes a shotgun, a machine gun, a railgun (a shotgun with a railgun), a rocket launcher, and various traps like anvil and balloons.

The appearance of cars can be changed for points earned in battles with real players. Tuning affects the color, type of wheels and body, nitro particles and even the sound of the engine.
