Sid Meiers Civilization 3 is a global turn-based strategy with an isometric view. The release contains the original game, the Conquests add-on! and the multiplayer add-on Play the World. The main feature of the project and the entire series is the evolution of factions. Here you can observe the birth of civilization and its development over many centuries. It all starts in prehistoric times and ends in modern times or the technological future. In Sid Meiers Civilization 3, you can play for 32 nations with unique features. Among them are Russia, Japan, America, Egypt and others. There are even exotic sides, such as the Aztecs, Zulus, Iroquois. You can lead your nation to victory in one of 6 ways: military, cultural, scientific, diplomatic, economic or through domination. The title is replete with a large number of nuances. There is also a lot of content and settings, which only contributes to replayability. Here you need to found and develop cities, build forts and wonders of the world, explore the world around you, extract resources and produce goods, engage in trade, stamp out units, enter into agreements, expand state borders and fight. All this on the map is done not only by the user, but also by computer opponents. The game has difficulty levels, but the artificial intelligence at any of them is capable of challenging due to its cheating nature. The game tries to be realistic, but does not claim to be meticulously historically accurate. Each nation develops at its own pace under the influence of many factors. Situations may arise when one power has already discovered and built the first tanks, and a neighboring state is still sending spearmen into battle. If the randomness is unsuccessful, a swordsman can stab an armored personnel carrier, and an archer can shoot a rocket. It's not just aggressive countries that you have to fight against. The surrounding area is home to barbarian tribes with their own camps that periodically raid. Closer to the endgame, all these peoples are most often completely exterminated.
