Silent Hill 2 - Directors Cut is a sequel to the series, but not the first part. The events take place in a small town in the United States. Judging by the license plates, it is Michigan. The power of an unknown force here is interested in what people keep in their own hearts. Each inhabitant sometimes moves to a parallel world and sees the environment differently.Silent Hill 2 campaign contains 6 main endings. This is determined by many factors. For example, how far James went from the girl, whether his companion received damage, whether the user listened to the final conversations, read the diary on the roof of the hospital and much more. Key items scattered in secret places will also affect. They can be skipped, but the ending will change. The gameplay is made in the style of a survival horror. The gamer controls the character from a third-person view. The game does not have a HUD interface, and to see health, use items or examine them, you will need to look into the inventory in pause mode. If the protagonist receives damage, the screen shakes. Red spots and a rich color scheme indicate that the hero has a small amount of health. There is no mini-map or navigator. You will have to explore the areas yourself and figure out where to go. Nevertheless, found paper maps of the area sometimes make it easier to search and navigate. The gamer will spend a lot of time searching for keys, items and solving puzzles. There are enemies along the way, but they are given less emphasis. Enemies can be skipped or killed. Each gameplay element has 4 difficulty levels. For example, the player can complicate or simplify the process of battles and solving secrets. James carries a flashlight and a radio that creates an ethereal noise if there are monsters nearby.
