Silent Line: Armored Core is a sequel that retains the essence of its predecessor and focuses on how players control customizable robots, performing various missions for corporate clients. For completing these missions, credits are accumulated, and they are compensated by repair costs and fees for AI assistants. With a huge number of robot parts available for customization, missions can be completed using a variety of equipment configurations. This expansion makes it easy to import save data, ensuring continuity of previously earned credits, emblems, and Armored Cores. There is an arena mode that allows for additional resources and parts to be collected outside of the typical mission structure. Here, users engage in combat against computer-controlled opponents, increasing in rank based on their performance. Notably, it is possible to use AI companions and train AI colleagues to mimic their style, challenging a trained version of their own Armored Core. Another dimension opens up with the introduction of a first-person mode for piloting these mighty robots. Paying tribute to its predecessors, Silent Line revives the possibilities of the local multiplayer mode of the franchise. Users engage in split-screen battles or fight against bots of several difficulty levels. Customizable mechanisms are presented for different approaches to completing missions.
