Silica is an indie project made in such different genres as a first-person shooter and a real-time strategy. The user finds himself in the place of a character who can travel between two realities and leads a desperate struggle for survival. In the futuristic setting of the work, people and aliens are engaged in an intense struggle for control over priceless silicon crystals. The protagonist can join any of the sides and smoothly switch between different roles depending on the user's preferences and the requirements of the battlefield.As a human, players can become experienced infantrymen engaged in ground combat, armed with a variety of weapons and vehicles to defeat the enemy. As a commander, you can take on the role of a commander, directing the course of the battle from orbit and tactically competently placing structures and units to protect precious crystals.On the other hand, as an alien, the player in Silica is able to play a formidable monster, using his innate abilities and cunning instincts to set up ambushes and defeat enemies. Or, conversely, you can try to play a shapeshifter, capable of transforming and adapting to different scenarios and environments, making enemies guess where the threat is lurking.
