Slain: Back from Hell is a game with an emphasis on blood, gore, hardcore and a dark atmosphere. It is a classic platformer with puzzle elements and a gorgeous soundtrack that will warm the souls of hard rock fans. The plot begins with the forced resurrection of the deceased hero, whose epic power is once again needed by the suffering world. The character is a battle mage who uses a huge sword in battle, which he waves like a penknife. In addition to cold weapons, the bearded rocker uses clots of magical energy that help shoot back at flying evil spirits. In total, the hero has access to three types of weapons, which he alternates depending on the situation, size and tactics of the enemy. The gameplay begins with the Bloody Dungeon, which is ruled by a bulky demonic carcass that appears at the beginning of the level to introduce itself to the protagonist and unleash a horde of minions on him. Health bitten by enemies and wasted mana is restored by angels, occasionally encountered in the dark chambers of the underworld. The game also provides checkpoints in the form of lanterns, activated by hitting the lampshade.A variety of traps and bosses makes the gameplay difficult in a good way. The fate of the character depends on the dexterity and attentiveness of the gamer. If you try, you can complete the game in six hours. And hell is also full of secrets, naturally, with security and deadly traps.
