Sledgehammer / Gear Grinder tells about very unusual races. The plot centers on a talented driver who decided to test himself. However, the newbie's choice did not fall on ordinary competitions and not even on street racing. The protagonist decided to race trucks, and even equipped with weapons. Gradually, the usual competition develops into a real struggle for survival, which is filled with an atmosphere of adrenaline and madness. There is no turning back - the newbie must become the best, or leave his life on the track.In total, there are two modes in Sledgehammer / Gear Grinder: racing and combat. In the first, gamers will be able to simply enjoy truck races in standard formats, such as circuit racing, sprint, and so on. The second is more interesting and eventful. In it, players have the opportunity to equip the car with various devices. Among them are rockets for acceleration, bazookas, guns and much more. The user himself chooses what to rely on - speed and experience or weapons.For each victory, the racer receives a considerable reward. It can be spent on buying new cars, repairing an old one or upgrading it. Absolutely all important parts of the truck are subject to upgrade: from wheels to a machine gun. Thus, the driver gets much more chances in the crazy competition. It is also worth noting that the campaign can be completed not only alone, but also in co-op with friends, competing with them in parallel.
