Slender: The Arrival is a horror game that is a partial remake of Slender: The Eight Pages. The plot tells the story of how the main character Lauren is in search of her best friend named Kate. As in the previous parts of the series, the gameplay of Arrival is based on exploring locations, solving puzzles and pursuing a mysterious creature called Slender. Slender (or Slenderman) is a skinny and faceless monster that resembles a human, but instead of hands he has tentacles. The creature cannot be killed. You must either hide or run away. Lauren does not know how to use weapons. Of all the equipment that she uses, she uses a flashlight and a video camera, which helps her capture important and interesting plot moments. The storyline of Slender: The Arrival is presented in 5 chapters: Prologue, Eight Pages, Into the Abyss, A Look into the Past and Arrival. In addition, several additional tasks are available. The closer the monster is to the heroine, the more interference the video camera screen will show. When it is impossible to see the image through the lens, you just need to run away at random, which is the last chance to escape from the creature. If Slender manages to catch up with the protagonist, instant death follows. A hardcore game mode is available, where the tasks become more difficult, the enemy becomes stronger and the flashlight has a limited charge. You will also need to look for not only generators to start the mechanisms, but also canisters of gasoline. An alternative ending will be shown on this difficulty. All the actions of the game will unfold in the territory of Oakside Park. Among the secondary characters, Lauren will meet Kate's friend - CR, Charlie Matheson Jr., Charles Matheson and people called Proxies.
