Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode 1 - another sequel to the game franchise about the supersonic hedgehog - the superman of the cartoon universe. The first episode of the fourth Sonic was not marked by innovations either in terms of gameplay or in terms of visual design. The levels remained unchanged, the bosses are the same. The plot component as such is absent, but the introduction says that Sonic's old enemy Dr. Eggman cannot live in peace while the hedgehog gets the laurels of the winner. Having carefully prepared the return, and having modified his golems, the villain makes a new, obviously failed attempt to incinerate the protagonist.Fans of the series are offered an old candy in a familiar wrapper. Everything that the main character is famous for has remained with him: the famous Dash technique, as well as the Homing Attack. And again, the blue-maned hedgehog, exploring the levels of a two-dimensional platformer, jokingly deals with formidable opponents. The gameplay evokes a feeling of deja vu, but does not get boring, as obstacles dynamically replace each other, and boss fights have become more difficult. The pleasant features of the game include musical accompaniment. The soundtrack fits perfectly into the acid-bright atmosphere of the world. Achievement hunters will find a dozen difficult challenges, including an achievement that causes toothache even for pedantic players - Enemy Hunter. It can be obtained by destroying a thousand mobs.
