SoulCalibur 2 is a project that became a continuation of the Japanese game series Soul. The storyline revolves around the mysterious sword Soul Edge, which was shattered into pieces and scattered around the world. The action takes place in 1590, 4 years after the events of the previous part. A knight named Nightmare restores the Ostrheinsburg castle with his followers, wanting to make it a home for a mysterious dark cult. 3 brave warriors tried to prevent this by attacking the fortress: the cult was defeated and Nightmare was killed, but his blade, broken into pieces, retained some villainous power and brought chaos and destruction to the world. Many warriors are eager to take possession of him, collecting him again to accept his power or destroy him, and the knight himself is eager to return to life.SoulCalibur 2 is a fighting game. The player will fight with other heroes, playing as one of the characters, among which are both the originals from the previous part, and 4 new characters - there are 25 of them in total. The game has many different combinations and mechanics that will make the fights exciting and unique. Heroes have 12 types of weapons, from the weakest to the all-powerful Absolute, and in addition - a sample of humorous weapons that act ineffectively, but funny. There are several game modes, including battles of armies, exploration of locations and much more.
