Soviet Monsters: Ekranoplans gives you the opportunity to take control of monstrous, but at the same time nimble units. These are ekranoplans - a miracle of engineering technology that gained popularity at a certain period in the former Soviet Union. The game includes both examples that were actually built, and those that remained exclusively on the drawing board. Missions in Soviet Monsters: Ekranoplans are divided into the following classes:

• Rescue - the goal is to deliver the necessary supplies and equipment on board the ship to carry out work to rescue people at facilities;
• Construction - involves transporting specialists and the necessary materials to carry out work on the construction of important strategic facilities. Among them will be a television tower, an antenna studying the planet's ionosphere and the majestic cosmodrome at Baikonur;
• Offensive - missiles, ammunition and equipment for combat operations are loaded onto the vehicle. This can be either recapturing a captured base, or conducting a sortie deep into enemy territory.

In total, the game has 27 large-scale missions with primary and secondary tasks. Before the start of the level, you need to choose the vehicle itself (there are 12 units in total), after which it is the turn of the crew. It includes: officers who will manage the course of the operation; workers who will be engaged in the construction of buildings; pilots who are tasked with controlling the ship; fighters whose main goal is to repel attacks by advancing enemy units and move the front line away from the place of the main actions.
