Star Renegades sends you to different dimensions, where teams of heroes fight the powerful forces of the Imperium. The game is made in a futuristic setting and has elements of a strategic RPG and roguelite. The process begins when the servobot J5T-1N arrives in the protagonists' dimension to warn of an Imperial attack. The user creates his own squad of characters, with whom he goes to battle enemy forces. At the head of the group is a girl with a drone, who move through dimensions, defeating robot bosses, trying to get to the main antagonist.The player enters into battles with enemies, who gradually rise in rank and evolve, and if they are destroyed, fall down the career ladder, leaving behind valuable resources needed to open new characters of various classes. By acquiring enemy technology, the user creates new gear that will come in handy in future missions. Additional bonuses can be obtained in the lab, such as auto-recovery of 50% armor while in camp. Along with the killing of elite enemies, class ranks are pumped up, along with new characters and bonuses, including increased attack speed and damage. Periodically, the group goes to the base, where you can communicate with other inhabitants and learn news from imperial sources.The combat system involves the presence of alternating attacks, where each fighter uses his own skills and weapons, for example, the aegis restores shields for himself and his allies, others use increased health, a sword or a pistol as an advantage. Each class has many different parameters, roles and skills. As you progress, the Sniper, Fighter, Saboteur, Commando, Empath, Valkyrie, Archon are unlocked. The sequence of moves is indicated on the timeline, and with individual attacks, the user is able to push enemies away, use blows to delay them, throwing them beyond the scale. Here it is important to plan further actions, defend yourself, activate different auras, restore shields, look for vulnerabilities in each enemy. Each battle involves three heroes, who should be selected in advance based on their abilities. Levels and skills for fighters are purchased for DNA points, and equipment is obtained using equipment found on the map, where you can also find a chest with technologies, medicine, a workbench to increase the level of armor.
