Role-playing video game Star Traders: Frontiers allows you to go to the distant future and, as the captain of an independent ship, explore the vast expanses of the Universe. Also here are introduced elements of turn-based strategy and sandbox with the possibility of endless passage.

According to the plot, which practically does not affect the gameplay, the action takes place in a world where people learned about the existence of other races and took their place among the ruling states in thirty galaxies. Until a certain moment, peace was preserved, but now especially powerful factions are thinking about dividing territory and destroying weaker powers. The main character is obliged to bring peace or join one of the warring parties.
