Star Trek: Bridge Commander is a space adventure that tells the story of a captain serving in the Star Fleet of a fictional organization called the Federation. During the passage, it is proposed to control a variety of ships, ranging from small and unarmed shuttles to the largest stations equipped with advanced technology. The primary emphasis is on the tactical component. You will have to give various orders to your wards in order for them to perform certain actions. It is proposed to participate in space battles, during which high-tech weapons are used. In addition, there is a well-developed plot component that allows you to dive deeper into the unfolding events and learn more details about the in-game world.Star Trek: Bridge Commander offers to face enemy forces, which can be dealt with using several types of weapons. You can slow down the enemy's movement using a special beam. It will also allow you to move your allies, dragging them away from the thick of things. There are many different bombs, missiles and torpedoes with personal properties. Some of them will be able to pass through the opponent's shield, thereby causing damage directly. However, such shells will become available only closer to the end of the story. All ships have a certain number of functioning systems - each of them can be disabled if you fire at it. The protagonist's ship has a limited supply of energy, which is why you will have to decide for yourself which of the systems to disable to save fuel.
