Star Trek: Deep Space 9. The Fallen is a game about Captain Sisko and his team of peacekeepers, who have learned of three ancient artifacts that are capable of destroying worlds. Known as the three lost spheres of ghosts, they are the remnants of a cult religion known as the Bajorans, who have since split into two warring sects. Not only did their location arouse the interest of the more aggressive side of this religion, but a number of other factions also joined the race. These include familiar Star Trek foes such as the Cardassians and the Dominion, as well as a previously unknown alien race called the Grigari. The player will have to play through three narratives, each played by a different character. Captain Benjamin Sisko begins the adventure by mitigating the deadly effects of a Grigari hunt before going on a quest to recover the remaining spheres, while Major Kira Nerys helps the more peaceful Bajorans by protecting their monastery. Lieutenant Commander Worf, assisting in repairing the starship's engines before diving head-on into a Cardassian mining planet.Sisko and Kira wield phasers that never run out of power, while Worf uses a Batlet. It's a beautiful blade, but it forces you to engage in close combat when you run out of ammo for ranged weapons like the various high-tech rifles, plasma meters, and grenade launchers. Another advantage of hand weapons is that they can be modulated, giving the ability to shoot through force fields, as well as destroy certain enemies without using up ammunition from more powerful weapons.
