Star Trek: Encounters offers an arcade shootout that unites ships and characters from five series of the franchise. Divided into six separate sections, each segment corresponds to a specific TV series without a common narrative connection. Instead, it opts for self-contained storylines in each section. Enterprise missions focus on defending Earth from the Xindi threat, ranging from battling Xindi fighters to preventing the creation of a planet-destroying superweapon. Meanwhile, the original series' missions take place between key films, with Enterprise involved in tasks such as escorting Ambassador Vulcan to peace talks with the Klingons and dealing with the aftermath of the explosion of the Genesis planet.
