Star Wars: Force Commander is one of the first projects in the genre that has completely moved into three dimensions. Although a little-known real-time strategy game in the Star Wars universe, it still has something to surprise. The player, in the role of an imperial commander, is given control of numerous troops to fight the rebels. During several campaigns, the newly-minted commander will have to visit the iconic planets of the famous franchise and actively participate in the military operations of the 4-6 episodes of the saga. The general concept of combat in Star Wars: Force Commander is standard and ordinary for the genre. A distinctive feature is the absence of the usual mined materials, which are subsequently used to buy new units. Instead, the project uses so-called command points or, more simply, respect points. You can earn this resource by successfully completing tasks within missions, but you can also lose them by failing. The more of these points, the more deadly units are available for purchase. Also, the game does not have buildings such as barracks, hangars, training academies and training centers. For the sake of canonicity and realism in general, there is no production of military transport and attack aircraft from thin air. All units, if the gamer can afford them of course, are delivered to the battlefield on huge battle cruisers.
