The action of the game STEEL STRIDER takes place in the second half of the twentieth century, when large military battles unfolding in the vastness of space ended, turning into small skirmishes and conflicts between organizations. Neither peacekeeping forces nor the army are suitable for their resolution, due to the insufficient equipment of the former and the low mobility of the latter. The only organization capable of introducing lightning-fast special operations is Argo Express. A variety of individuals turn to them with a request to restore order and prevent mass bloodshed. The main character, a fighter and universal soldier, capable of using a Gemini-class combat robot, serves in the ranks of this group. There are several difficulty levels, from easy to crazy.In total, Steel Striders requires you to go through four planets, each with 8-10 levels. The terrain of these celestial bodies, inhabited by aggressive robots with various types of weapons, and at the end of the sortie, a massive boss will await the protagonist, to defeat whom you will have to use the entire arsenal and accumulated skills. For battles, a wide variety of guns is provided, suitable for different tasks and distances. The ammunition of the base pistol is endless, and for close combat you can always use a radius sword. For more brutal confrontations, heavy artillery will be needed: assault rifles, shotguns, grenades and missiles. To increase maneuverability, a reactive satchel is used to quickly make a maneuver or jump a wide ravine.
