In the quest Still Life, the player will have to play the role of a young but promising FBI agent named Victoria McPherson, who is investigating a confusing series of strange murders. 5 innocent victims have already gone to the next world, but there is a catastrophic lack of real evidence and any leads to completely unravel this mysterious tangle of strange coincidences, incomprehensible events and terrifying accidents. Amid the lack of evidence, the detective begins to feel depressed and she decides to take a forced break from the investigation. The heroine of Still Life goes to her parents' house, which is located near Chicago, hoping to quietly celebrate Christmas there, rest her soul and fill herself with positive emotions and memories, but even there she does not find the long-awaited peace.The heroine is constantly tormented by thoughts about unsolved crimes that haunt her, and she accidentally finds an old folder with one of the investigations of her grandfather, who was also a detective, and begins to study it and it turns out that long-forgotten events from the life of her ancestor are connected with murders happening in the present.
