The Stirring Abyss story mode tells the story of a survivor trying to rescue the crew and repair a submarine. The plot of the game is not linear. The decisions you make determine the future fate of your subordinates and affect global history. Develop character skills that will help you in the passage. Abilities define the style of combat and open up new facets of the gameplay. As the game progresses, the rescued soldiers are pumped with the help of mutations, giving enormous powers, but turning them into creepy Lovecraftian monsters. No one leaves the abyss the same!

Horrors, gloom and emptiness await you. The members of your squad will experience bouts of despair, exhaustion and madness. The psyche of many can be significantly destroyed. Their fate depends only on you! The more you explore the depths of the sea, the more chances you have to find treasures and equipment that will significantly help in the fight against hostile entities. The flashlight is the only source of light at great depths. Explore the area carefully as there is danger around every turn! In addition to the storyline, an Endless mode is available, where your group will have to fend off the advancing waves of enemies.
