Sudden Strike 3 continues the franchise, again offering to take part in the battles of World War II. This time, you can take part in the battles for one of 5 countries: Germany, USSR, America, Britain or Japan. The action is divided into several companies, depending on the events. Among them are the Battle of Kerch, the classic Normandy, the Battle of Iwo Jima and the German counterattack. The campaigns are divided into long missions, of which there are 11 in total. If this is not enough, the game has a location and mission editor. In terms of gameplay, Sudden Strike 3: Arms For Victory is a classic RTS without construction. Each mission begins with the arrival of allied forces on the map. The units allocated at the start are all that the player basically receives, and therefore each unit counts. However, reinforcements arrive at some stages of the game. In addition, sometimes additional abilities are available, in the spirit of calling in an artillery salvo at the enemy. However, they are strictly limited in the number of uses. Each mission takes place on large open maps and often requires a slow and meticulous approach. The combat actions themselves are made to a reasonable degree of realism. Units have a certain field of view, which they use to navigate in battle. You can load soldiers into vehicles, and this will affect their characteristics. Some elements of the environment, such as buildings and fortifications, are even destructible. In addition, the player is free to switch between the global strategic and local tactical maps.
