Sudoku Universe does not try to reinvent its own genre or boldly experiment with the concept. The gameplay is not burdened with a narrative - there is not even a setting in the background, not to mention a full-fledged plot. Even the background of the puzzles is presented by an ordinary gradient. Not too flashy, but pleasing to the eye, not distracting from the main action. The point of the game is to solve all 150 logical sudoku puzzles, on a classic 9 by 9 grid. Sudoku Universe leaves the player alone with distilled gameplay. There are no secrets, Easter eggs or unusual bonuses to be found on the levels. Controls and the timer are also hidden from view by default. However, this doesn't mean the game doesn't have any advantages over traditional on-paper games. For example, when setting a number, the column and row that the insertion will affect are highlighted. And conflicting numbers are outlined with noticeable circles. In addition, it is allowed to change the color theme for greater comfort in completing puzzles. There are options to simplify the gameplay. It is allowed to turn on the display of possible numbers for installation and the number of each remaining unplaced numbers for the level. Moves can be canceled, but there are no direct hints. But there is a mode with infinitely generated tasks. Unlike the standard 150, they can vary greatly in complexity, but will still be guaranteed to be passable.
