Sunset Overdrive

The dystopian world of Sunset Overdrive has been reset. The energy drink Overcharge Delirium XT, which was distributed through advertising, has a different effect instead of an energy boost. A transnational corporation, which wanted to expand its influence and earn even more money, introduces an unusual drink to the masses. Humanity, which tried out the latest development, unexpectedly for everyone began to turn into mutants. The transformation is accompanied by severe pain.The protagonist of Sunset Overdrive, who worked in the company as an ordinary worker - a cleaner, quietly and efficiently does his job. While playing on his smartphone, he notices that strange events are happening. People who tasted the orange liquid were covered in blisters, their personality was instantly destroyed, and they became brainless monsters. The protagonist miraculously escapes from misfortune, barricading himself in his apartment. 17 days pass, the food supplies have run out, which means that, no matter how much he wants to, he needs to go outside.During the time of the protagonist's stay in seclusion, the military blocked all the entrances and exits in the city, and crowds of mutants roam the streets, devouring all living things. Hordes of monsters wander in search of victims and another dose of energy drink, trying to quench their endless thirst for the drink. The remaining survivors are divided into groups - former employees of the corporation, student inventors, samurai scouts.
