The game has eight worlds, divided into four levels, and in total - 32 locations with a bunch of different monsters, traps, chasms and secret paths.The character uses three types of useful items: mushrooms increase growth and strength, a fire flower gives infinite ammo, and a rare star makes the hero invulnerable for a couple of dozen seconds. Using the last passive bonus, Mario is able to run straight ahead, knocking down enemies, and thus saving time. This version of the game even has a level editor in which the player can craft his own map.
