The story sees gamers take on the role of an observer assigned to work monitoring a specific facility, and undergo a five-day probationary period to evaluate their performance. Payment is based on the number of anomaly reports and false alarms submitted, with users responsible for managing expenses such as housing and food based on their earnings. The outcome of the story depends on skill and other unspecified factors. The story takes place across five facilities, allowing it to continue even after the first session is over.
