Steel Assault

Events Steel Assault unfold in a post-apocalyptic America. Megacities are overgrown with greenery, and life is slowly getting better. The catastrophe happened in the late 2030s when American cities were attacked by radiation. Many residents died, and the survivors went to other places where radiation is not deadly and further life is possible.

Magnus Pierce is a famous roboticist and inventor who has reached the rank of army general. He rebelled against his own people to destroy them and rule the ashes. It all started when he came up with a large-scale plan "cleanup", which required him to kill major and powerful opponents, including the central character's parents. The user takes control of Taro Takahashi. As he gets older, he becomes a core member of the movement "Resistance at dawn".

The gameplay has to make its way through America. The gameplay is presented as a 16-bit platformer with a side view and constant action that happens to the underling. Controlling a resistance soldier, you will need to avenge the death of your parents and a disaster. Numerous enemies and bosses, most of them robots, will get in the way. Opponents have different strengths and weaknesses. The hero uses a ziplane and a mechanical hook, opening up new possibilities in movement.
