Syder Reloaded offers a side-scrolling shoot em up experience with the ability to shoot in different directions, inspired by the Amiga arcades of the 1990s. The player will have to overcome difficult levels filled with many alien enemies, which requires precision in control. The core of the gameplay is built on the pilot's skills to withstand waves of enemies attacking from different directions. This title revives key elements of the genre, challenging reactions and the ability to recognize attacks.Progress in Syder Reloaded relies only on the personal skills of the gamer, as the authors deliberately removed item upgrades and resource collection for development. Success is determined solely by the effectiveness of actions and mastery of the controller, and not by the time spent or virtual resources. New mechanics support this approach: grazing allows you to fly close to projectiles to maintain your score multipliers, and selecting bonuses by shooting at them gives you control over the weapons you receive.In addition, shooting down enemy bullets partially restores the multiplier reset scale, encouraging an active playstyle. The project structure contains 6 unique campaign stages, including boss fights and enemies with special behavior. For gameplay aimed at scoring, there are 3 separate levels in the Survival and Challenge modes, serving as a platform for demonstrating piloting skills. The expanded fleet gives access to 4 additional controllable ships beyond the initial set, each with its own maneuverability and weapons parameters.
