Syrian Warfare belongs to the genre of tactical real-time strategies. As the name suggests, the game tells about military operations in Syria. Its events unfold in the fall of 2012 and in the period from September 2015 to December 2016. Here you can play for the Syrian Arab Army and sometimes for the Russian Aerospace Forces, GRU, Airborne Forces and Marines. They confront militants and terrorists. All aspects of the conflict use an extensive arsenal, and enemies also send suicide bombers. The narrative is on behalf of a local resident. The police officer witnessed the attack on his hometown and was called up to serve in the troops. In the Syria project: a Russian storm before the start of the assignment gives the opportunity to form forces, configure reinforcement and distribute weapons to their fighters. Each warrior has his own name and call sign. Goals can be achieved in different ways. All surviving infantry and technology passes into the next mission. Units gain experience in battle and pump. Transport has divisions into sectors instead of a strip of health. Damaged tanks and an armored personnel carrier can be repaired (but it is impossible to restore the armor), and enemy ones can be taken to yourself. Most of the fights occur in settlements. Buildings are divided into 3 types and give various buffs of soldiers who have eaten in them. The game allows you to storm and capture buildings, request an air strike, land fighters from helicopters, use heat traps, apply smoke screens. The product is the spiritual successor to the 2008 strategy title Warfare. From its predecessor, this RTS inherited not only the genre but also the graphics engine and the format of briefings. The visual component has been tightened up, and the physics have become more elaborate. Artificial intelligence has remained at about the same level as before.
