Tales from the Void is a sci-fi action game that tells an alternative fate of the crew members of the Royal Navy submarine HMS E8. The plot of the video game is partially based on a true story. During the confrontation with the Germans in the early 20th century, while carrying out a secret mission in the Baltic Sea, the submarine with the crew on board suddenly stopped communicating. Since then nothing has been heard about it. Almost 100 years later, the wreckage of the submarine was found on the seabed, but the question of the reasons for the breakdown of the vessel still remains open.As part of the passage of the story campaign of Tales from the Void, the player again goes to 1916 and becomes Captain Halakhan. In an alternative version proposed by the developers, HMS E8 must hit enemy ships using experimental weapons. However, its exploitation leads to the opening of a portal, which the boat falls into.
