The age of decadence - turn-based role-playing game in which three houses have unleashed a bloody war: Theron, Maadoran, Genezzar. All that worries them is power and sphere of influence, so they use all available dirty methods: murder, manipulation, theft, etc. The world around us resembles Roman aesthetics with the futurism of the Imperium from Warhammer.

The protagonist of the game, of which there are 8 to choose from, is not born a hero. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Each of the heroes has its own background and is distinguished by a set of skills. Among them are Assassin, Thief, Praetor, Scientist, Rogue, Rogue, Mercenary and Merchant. The development branch is represented by a set of 8 characteristics, 12 peaceful skills and 11 combat abilities.

The thief will be better at handling castles, the Assassin will act from the shadows, the Merchant has eloquence, etc. Thus, the passage for each individual character will be different. Almost every movement and action in The Age of Decadence is accompanied by an abundance of textual information. Gameplay is an isometric interactive novel.

Locations, animals and interaction with the environment create an immersive layer of the gameplay. Despite the fact that the game does not have a global map, you can travel across open areas and territories. The main focus of the gameplay is not on killing opponents and monsters, but on showdowns between houses and factions. The main thing here is to make a name for yourself and gain a reputation. Who is a friend and who is an enemy is up to you individually.

The storyline is divided into "Divine" and "Human". Human consists of seven independent stories, presented by each separate house. 7 factions take part in the plot: House Darathan, House Aurelian, House Crassus, Imperial Guard, Forty Thieves, Commerce and Helms of Styx.
