The Choice of Life: Middle Ages is a card game set in the Middle Ages with a touch of magic and Eastern European myth. The player will face quite difficult choices from the very childhood of his character, the result of which can sometimes be observed throughout his entire life. The project has a high potential for replayability, as there are several roles and many development paths for them. The main character is born into an ordinary peasant family, somewhere in a small village. His main goal will be to break into society and get to the capital itself, where he can get into the royal treasury or become close to power. How to do this, only the protagonist decides, because even in a fairly old world there is room for betrayal, manipulation and political intrigue.Character classes The Choice of Life: Middle Ages:
- Robber - actively engaged in theft, can penetrate into premises, over time improves the skill of hacking, the main goal: complete devastation of the treasury
- Inquisitor - an employee of the church, can burn everyone who is objectionable to the authorities or interferes with the fulfillment of his goals, if they provide evidence of witchcraft
- Merchant - wanders around the kingdom, buys various goods, and then sells them at a higher price, is often a collector of rumors
- Beggar - a wandering traveler who lives off handouts from caring people, distinguished by his cunning and acting skills
At each stage of the plot, the user will have a choice between several cards. Protect the witch or burn her in front of the children? Distribute more of the budget to the church or to help those in need? Each option will have a colossal impact on the future fate, as well as the chances and ways of completing the main task.
