The Detail is a dark noir thriller with an episodic plot, will transfer the player in the person of an unbalanced detective to a city full of crime and death. He is a master at tracking down criminals, getting confessions from them, and in case of disobedience, he is ready to arrange a bloody massacre.Since the plot is divided into episodes, each of them is connected with other series. The lion's share of the passage, the gamer will participate in dialogues and each decision made in them has consequences in future episodes. From time to time, the thriller offers to make a quick fateful choice, on which the further tone of the narrative and the fate of the characters depend. In The Detail, the player can achieve different endings depending on the decisions made during the game.Outside of numerous dialogues, the detective is offered to tame QTE scenes, in which it is necessary to press certain keys extremely quickly and in the right order. The rest of the time, the protagonist explores colorful black and white locations. Each level has many objects that should be interacted with in order to start the further chain of events. It is not difficult to find such objects - as a rule, they are highlighted when the right key is pressed. In some places, the adventure resembles a movie - the narrative is generously diluted with cinematic inserts in the style of Naur, in which the hero beats the crap out of criminals or communicates with a witness.
