The King of Fighters: Neowave - a 2D fighting game, returns the classic system of destroying three characters, abandoning later features of the process, such as the Striker system. The transition from Neo Geo to Atomiswave brings a change in the control scheme: the number of buttons is now increased to five. In addition to the standard four attack buttons from previous parts, a fifth button has appeared, activating heat. This mode increases attack power, but at the cost of depleting the character's health. You should use the heat mode strategically, since it can only be activated after losing a round. You can customize the style by choosing one of three different models, and each affects the available techniques and the length of the power scale. Super Cancel (SC Mode) features a three-barrel power meter that allows for super special moves and MAX. With one bar, you can easily swap out regular moves for special moves, giving you a tactical advantage in combat. You'll also need to use your bars to cancel knockdowns or guard emergency exits, adding depth to your defensive strategies. The King of Fighters: Neowave's Mechanics Versatility offers a dynamic and strategic combat experience. The introduction of Heat Mode and an advanced control scheme on the Atomiswave platform add complexity to the traditional 2D combat formula.
