In The Legend of Alon Dar, the process revolves around a system similar to the Active Time Battle system in Final Fantasy. Players wait for their turn, but here the time of actions varies depending on the selected weapon or ability. Axes are swung more carefully than daggers, affecting the course of the battle. Experience points are required to improve weapons, and they can be used in save stones to increase the level of individual characteristics associated with each class of weapons - speed, damage, blocking. Gold gains new traits in certain Save Stones, allowing for six levels of upgrades. Maximizing all stats unlocks an additional level that increases weapon effectiveness. Equipping weapons, items, and spells allows you to use them — up to ten slots per character. Each character boasts a unique permanent ability that always occupies the bottom slot. In addition, four slots for armor and accessories allow you to customize your character. A vast world invites exploration, boasting numerous cities and a variety of enemies. Plus, once the second character in the story is unlocked, multiplayer options become available. The duration of the actions varies depending on the weapon or ability selected. Use experience points in save stones to increase the level of characteristics unique to each class of weapons.
