In The Lions Song, the storyline presents a full-fledged, deep story of three creative individuals seeking their social niche on the threshold of the twentieth century. The events take place in Vienna, Austria, telling the story of a segment of the life of the violinist Wilma, the artist Franz Marker and the talented mathematician Emma Reznicek. Women come into conflict with social prejudices and face moral pressure, and a young man gets lost in his own inner world. Each hero is so original that he is able to contribute to the culture and scientific progress of all mankind. Wilma is hampered by her mentor, Franz, being a brilliant expressionist, cannot paint a decent self-portrait, and Emma is not recognized by the math club, arrogantly believing that only men are inclined to analytical thinking. The atmosphere is conveyed so well that the player emotionally experiences every moment of the formation of the motley trinity. In essence, Song of the Lion is an interactive animation in which the player's activity is reduced to the choice of actions, deeds and dialogue lines. Multiple options enrich the script, influencing not so much the ending as the details of the passage and the relationships between the protagonists. The project has pixel graphics, despite its simplicity, which copes well with the presentation of the plot. The story is divided into four episodes. The first three are dedicated to the individuality of the heroes, and the last one sums up the overall result of the soulful Austrian parable about the power of human will.
