In The Mercury Man, you need to plunge into a dark future that does not promise anything good for humanity. Years passed, and humanity wanted to find a way to cure all diseases. Constant pandemics, overcrowded clinics, all this led to the development of a new medical industry. Through research, scientists in 2310 found out that in order for a person to stop getting sick, you need to replace his blood with mercury. And just 5 years later, the first operations began. In The Mercury Man, at first only very rich people could afford such a procedure. But soon the middle class, and the local poor also wanted to protect their health. This is how underground hospitals appeared, where they performed the operation for a small fee. Now a large number of people received their dose of mercury. But then the percentage of those who fell ill began to grow, and among those who for some reason did not transfuse their blood. As it turned out, being near people who had undergone the operation is dangerous. So a new measure was adopted - everyone who now possessed mercury was sent to Mars. This was done by a special police force, which found all violators. A clear division formed on the red planet - at the outer stage lived the poor, who had transfused themselves illegally. And the inner faction was the cream of society. And to get there, it was necessary to pass a clear loyalty test. Due to the fact that the air, and the habitat on Mars, are not particularly suitable for people, the poor settlers began to mutate, turning into monsters. But people from the earth continued to send mercury there. The game's protagonist is a police hunter. You will need to complete quests, gradually understand the plot, and reach the end.
