But everything changed due to a conflict between Queen Tehda and her sister, as a result of which the city was flooded. The sisters drowned, and the king miraculously managed to escape the fate. In the present, gamers gain control over Amelia, a representative of the Myth Seekers agency. Arriving in Paris, she discovers that the company has been compromised, and this may be due to an artifact found near the city of Ys. Now, the girl wants to figure everything out in order to get to the truth and understand who is really behind what happened. The gameplay in the game The Myth Seekers 2: The Sunken City is based on simple mechanics concerning the collection of items. So, when you find yourself in one of 40 locations in different parts of Paris, you need to find all the things listed in the list of tasks. As soon as you manage to find the next item from the list, its status immediately changes. In addition to search work, there was also room for puzzles, whose mechanics can change depending on the situation. For example, in one of the segments you need to assemble a picture by arranging the fragments in the right order. Or, using a stencil, arrange the figures in the grooves so that when overlayed they completely correspond to their counterparts. If the situation turns out to be too difficult, you can use a hint. But its recharge time is quite long, and most of the quests must be solved on your own.
