The Red Solstice 2: Survivors throws a real challenge to the gamer, in the form of battles with crowds of mutants. The second part of the strategy, made in a science fiction setting, has a story Campaign, different classes of heroes, variable survival mechanics and the ability to play in a cooperative, which is designed for 8 users. Here the gamer learns to create his own strategies, which he implements on the battlefield in real time.117 years after the fall of the Earth, the player gets to an infected Martian colony, finding himself in the clutches of the enemy. The protagonist is a fighter of the Howell-Barrex corporation, which sends him at the head of the special forces Cell, to cleanse the colony of mutants. These are local inhabitants in the past, who were infected with the dangerous STROL virus. The goal is to prevent the spread of infection. Before each mission, the user forms a squad of different types of characters with different skills and weapons, and also equips the soldiers with equipment. There are 6 classes of characters - a sniper, a medic, a scout, an assault trooper, a demolition man and firepower.In the process, the group breaks through crowds of infected, shooting back at dangerous creatures, trying to find a cure for the infection. Here you are offered to complete a variety of tasks, during which you need to think through every step tactically, trying not to become a monster yourself. In the Campaign, the user manages resources, explores the entire planet and new technologies to use them in the battle to save the Earth. Battles take place in real time, where the gamer must quickly adapt to any changes on the battlefield, using weapons of mass destruction. The game features 3 types of tasks - survival, exploration, stealth execution; there are 15 main ones in total, as well as 2 dozen additional ones.
