The Swine

At the very beginning of the game The Swine, the player is introduced to a married couple who came to their country house to take a break from the worries and bustle of the city. After some time, strange and incomprehensible events begin to occur in the house, which will have a strong impact on the main characters. The husband finds out that while he was sleeping, a mysterious stranger entered their house under the guise of calling on the phone. In fact, the girl left a tarot card, which the main character subsequently finds. The next day, at night, the electricity in the house goes out and in order to find out the reason for what is happening, the gamer first needs to find an old kerosene lamp, then walk around the entire house. Having found nothing suspicious in the residential part of the house, the protagonist goes down to the basement, where he meets a frightening man with a pig mask on his head. The mask is cut out of a pig's body. The man in the mask has telekinetic properties, which allows him to move objects and communicate telepathically with the hero. In The Swine, with each new day, the player gradually learns something new about the mystical cult and the people who hide behind ugly masks. It turns out that these sectarians have been watching people in the house for a long time and recording everything that happens on video. Eventually, the true intentions of the antagonists are revealed - to use the main character as a vessel for the transfer of consciousness. The first-person view, together with detailed graphics, contributes to maximum immersion in the game. The gamer is not prohibited from walking around the house, exploring it. This will play to the player's advantage in the future. With headphones, all sounds, be it creaks, rustles, the work of an old clock, are felt as immersively as possible.
