The legendary detective, whose deductive method has never failed, works together with his assistant and faithful friend Doctor Watson. Together, the partners solve the most intricate and complex cases of theft and murder.The Last Will of Sherlock Holmes starts with a tutorial, where the user will have to solve the case of the disappearance of a necklace of rare pearls. The theft takes place in the mansion of a wealthy marquis, and the protagonist finds the solution using clues. The user gets acquainted with the main game aspects and mechanics. While working on the disappearance, Watson finds an article in the morning newspaper accusing Sherlock of replacing the original with a fake. Soon a familiar policeman comes to their house, who accuses the character, but cannot arrest him due to the presence of only circumstantial evidence. The hero himself seems unperturbed, and calmly goes to a planned meeting with the bishop, which does not go as planned. The player will experience a lot of unpredictable events and an exciting ending.The gameplay is point and click, and comes down to exploring the area, searching for clues using various devices, such as a magnifying glass. The hero also conducts dialogues with characters, interviews witnesses, suspects, interacts with objects located in the environment. Periodically, the user will have to draw conclusions by completing mini-games on deduction. The clues themselves are located in unexpected and distant places, for example, in the morgue of a hospital for the poor, an old Chinese man's establishment. The search for the necessary items is complex, and first there is a process of detecting suspicious objects or even their absence in an obvious place, then there is a comparison of various samples, chemical analysis of substances, opening containers, breaking safes, digging graves. The player switches to the advanced search mode having noticed the necessary items, for example, having found traces on the floor, it is necessary to determine the number of people who left them. Under a magnifying glass, the protagonist discovers small details - traces of paint, abrasions, scratches. When breaking containers, safes, boxes, the player solves puzzles based on logic. In the process, the gamer controls not only Sherlock, Doctor Watson, but also the basset hound Toby - a bloodhound.
