Thief: Deadly Shadows

Thief: Deadly Shadows is a continuation of the series that shaped the stealth-action genre as such. Once again, the player will have to embody Garrett - a thief by profession, and most importantly by vocation. The game world is a dark mixture of the outgoing Middle Ages and the Renaissance with an admixture of magic. The peculiar combination has created an environment that has no analogues. The Gorda hide behind the castle walls, the guards wander with swords at the ready, and around the corner the cult of the mechanists is building another mind-blowing device in the style of steampunk. The intricate plot unfolds around the prophecy of the Indescribable Times, when glyphs will no longer be able to tell the future. The protagonist, personally acquainted with the shadow government and secret cults, gets involved in a series of events with long-term consequences. It is impossible to understand what is coming and who the Brother-and-Traitor from the prophecy is without evidence. Talents to be where you are not supposed to and take what you can’t are very useful in such an investigation. Gameplay Traef: Deadly Shadows is the quintessence of a creative approach and elements more similar to an emergency sim. Vast maps are filled with opponents who are often much stronger than Garrett and have advanced AI, reacting to any suspicious rustles. Confronting enemies requires ingenuity. Lock picks will provide access to bypass routes, water arrows will put out interfering fire, gas bombs with a sleeping substance will calculate the path to the target. In addition, the thief's bag hopes to have many more devices, such as booby traps or climbing gloves, which will allow the player to pave their own way through the shadows.
