The player's goal is to help the characters survive the realities of war, taking care of their moral and physical condition.The gameplay is divided into 2 phases - day and night. During the day, you should try not to leave the house, because you can run into snipers. An exception may be unforeseen circumstances, for example, a neighbor will be asked to help repel an attack by bandits or marauders. Here the user decides - to help and possibly sacrifice his people, or wait until the enemies deal with the people. In an open-world adventure, the player often makes decisions between conscience and morality or the lives of his charges. During the day, it is better to equip your home, make beds to get enough sleep, build a stove for cooking, and even a moonshine still, because alcohol is worth its weight in money and medicine for melancholy.Resources are needed for crafting, which should be looked for at night. The user sends one of the charges to search, preferably well armed - a pistol or knife will come in handy. Forays take place in abandoned buildings, shops and even churches, where you can find food, for example, canned goods, ammunition, weapons. Surviving characters have not only a sense of thirst and hunger, which must be constantly quenched, but also feelings, and are even capable of falling into depression. People comment on their own feelings or vividly express them. A shortage of food will affect hunger, a draft will lead to illness, enemy attacks can not only kill, but also injure. It is necessary to monitor the wards and provide them with the necessary things in time, but not forgetting about the limited resources, which are not always easy to obtain.
