But the essence itself has not changed, and it is still necessary to hit the ball (yes, they need to shoot it from the holes) so that it ends up in the opponent's goal. The opponent, in turn, will do the same to try to win by any means. Variations of levels in Toasterball can change depending on which mode the gamer chooses. There is a classic match where you need to throw a piece of bread into a sector with opening gates. However, to open the gates, you must first hit the button, which is located under the ceiling. There is also a special mode where at a certain moment exploding objects start appearing, changing the direction of the ball. In addition, you can randomly release toasted pieces of bread into the air to confuse your opponent or hit the ball right in the air, directing it into the goal. These are some of the few available gameplay options, and there are more than 20 of them. You can change the rules, set time limits and adjust many other details that somehow affect what is happening. For example, the field surface will be covered with ice, and then all participants will start sliding on the surface.
